Our team of caring professionals is here to support your family. Our team is nurturing, friendly, and dedicated to helping your little one thrive during these important early developmental stages. To ensure safety each staff member is CPR and first Aid certified. As well each member of our team takes at least 16 hours of early childhood education coursework to stay on top of what is happening in around us today.
Ms. Deborah – School Administrator
Ms. Deb has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership and Management, bringing strong leadership and interpersonal skills which will be an asset to creating dynamic interaction in her relationships with teachers, children and parents. Prior to becoming the Administrator of AECA, Mrs. Deb held numerous positions of leadership and administration including office manager for Steve Angeline Sales, Chief Administrative Officer for the Time to Fly Foundation, Elementary and Middle School Music Teacher at Agape Christian Academy where she was responsible for the development of the Music Curriculum and served as a staff member for before and after care.
She served as the Program Administrator for the Middle School After School Program (RARE) for the City of Alexandria where she managed the incorporation of additional curriculum, technology to support computer literacy, academic achievement, critical thinking, and other developmental skills; as well as engaged in parent and community partnerships. She also served as a creator and facilitator of Parenting Workshops within City of Alexandria. Families and children are a part of her DNA.
She is also a Certified Executive and Life Coach (Coaching and Positive Psychology – CAPP Institute); Certified Life Coach (Radical Life Coach Institute) CPR Certified and MAT Certified. Mrs. Deb and her husband enjoy working in ministry together and spending time with family to include their four legged friends.
Ms. Julie – Classroom Teacher
Julieann is a seasoned preschool teacher with more than 11 years of experience in the preschool classroom. Julie gained her teaching experience right here in the Northern Virginia area. Ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children and executing lessons plans are foundational for this teacher.
Julie is certified in first aid and CPR. She has completed the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program and is currently working towards her Child Development Associate Credentials (CDA). These credentials add a treasure of resources to Julie’s knowledge base.
A spark of joy is added to the classroom as Julie shares her knowledge gained from working in an outside nature preschool environment. As well in our Christian preschool setting Julie’s Certificate of Completion in Religious Studies compliments the AECA curriculum. Her heart for children is evident in the classroom. We are excited to have Julieann as a part of our teaching team.
Ms. Arielle – Classroom Teacher
Ms. Arielle is a valued and welcomed addition to our team here at Agape Embassy Christian Academy. With five years of experience in the childcare field, she has earned high praise from her previous employers. Currently, she serves as our kindergarten teacher, where she brings a nurturing, compassionate approach to her teaching.
Ms. Arielle’s experience, strong work ethic, and educational background are evident in the classroom. She is CPR and First Aid certified and is committed to furthering her expertise through ongoing professional development, ensuring she can provide the best care and instruction for our students.
She excels in teaching core subjects such as reading and math, and she also fosters creativity and physical development in subjects like art and PE. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Arielle enjoys spending quality time with her family and actively participates in her local church community.
We are excited to have Ms. Arielle as part of our academy, and we look forward to the continued positive impact she will have on our students.
Ms. Liyu – Classroom Teacher
Liyuwork, affectionately known as Ms. Liyu, brings over 20 years of experience to the childcare industry. She has worked in a variety of roles within the childcare and daycare environments, including as a teacher’s assistant and daycare helper. Prior to joining the staff at Agape Embassy Christian Academy, Ms. Liyu successfully operated her own home daycare, which was recognized and credentialed by both Fairfax County and the State of Virginia.
Ms. Liyu adheres to best practices in childcare and is certified in both First Aid and CPR. Her warm, nurturing, and motherly spirit brings a calming presence to the classroom, creating an environment where children feel safe, cared for, and inspired.
As a valued member of our teaching team, Ms. Liyu’s experience, dedication, and compassionate nature have made her an integral part of our academy. We are proud to have her on staff and are excited to see the positive influence she continues to have on our students.
